Mama’s Farmhouse breakfast takes you back to simpler times
Growing up in the South, a traditional breakfast consisted of grits, eggs, bacon, and some type of bread. Most Southerners would have biscuits as their choice of bread if you asked them. We love our breakfast and consider it to be the most important meal of the day. Eating breakfast, especially Sunday breakfast, is almost like a holiday for Southerners. If asked, most Southerners would tell you that they love their mama or grandmama’s cooking. So it is no surprise to find a restaurant in the hills of the Smoky Mountains honoring their Mother.
