Check out the new Reese’s Pieces Butter cups

Every once in a while a company comes out with a new product that gets everyone excited about it. I can imagine the excitement when the first computer came out, or the first generation Iphone, Crystal Pepsi, and the list goes on and on. Well, Hersey’s blew the top off with their new candy, Reese’s Pieces Butter Cups. You read that right folks. Reese’s Butter cups stuffed with Reese’s Pieces.

“The very first thing I notice as the knife is closing down is the crunch”

Starting out the first thing we did was cut them open to see what they looked like on the inside. The very first thing I notice as the knife is closing down is the crunch. You can feel the candy shells crunching under the force of the knife. Once it is opened, you can see the shells on the inside. The next thing I notice is the peanut butter on the inside of the shells is the same as the peanut butter in the cups. The difference to me has always been the Reese’s Butter Cups are not as sweet and have a little more peanut butter texture to them. The peanut butter in the Reese’s pieces has a smoother texture and sweeter taste. That could be attributed to the candy shell though. Since they are combined in one, they seem to have the same texture leaning more toward the Reese’s Pieces.

“They are still the same Reese’s Butter Cups that we all have grow to love.”

Once we bite into the Reese’s Pieces Butter Cups, you notice that same crunch that we could hear as the knife was cutting them in half. Otherwise they are much the same as the previous Reese’s Butter Cups. They are still the same Reese’s Butter Cups that we all have grow to love. Watch our video below to get a since of what they look and taste like. Take a test drive yourself and let us know what you think of them.
