Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is more than just spending time with family and friends

Fall
As we draw closer to the end of Thanksgiving week, it ushers in a lot of emotions. It can be happy for some, and a very sad time for others.  There are people traveling all over to meet with family and friends they may not have seen in a while. This is the start to the busiest time of the year. In the midst of summer we was all wishing for fall to get here, now fall is almost over and it is about time for Winter. I have to say that this is my favorite time of the year. It starts with College Football season and one of my favorite things to do, Hunting. Then we continue on to Thanksgiving then Christmas. We have to remember, though, that Thanksgiving is more than just spending time with family and friends, it is about being thankful for what you have.

“The first Thanksgiving was about being thankful for what you have.”

The first Thanksgiving was about
friends and family gathering together to share a successful harvest. It was about prayer and being thankful that God provided for them for another year. Making peace with one another and bonding. Letting the other know you have their back. Helping people less fortunate than themselves. The first Thanksgiving was about being thankful for what you have.

“This Thanksgiving I have something new to be thankful for, all of you reading this post.”

This year I am thankful for God for watching over me this year. I am thankful for My wife and kids for always loving me the for who I am. I am thankful for my dad, mom, brothers and sister for always accepting me and being there when I needed them. I am also grateful to live in this country where I am free to be able to do the things I love to do. I am indebted to all of the servicemen and women that have fought to give me that right, past and present. Finally, this Thanksgiving I have something new to be thankful for, all of you reading this post!

“I am not sure where it is heading or where it will go but it has been fun so far..”

I appreciate all of the love and support I have received as I started this journey. I am not sure where it is heading or where it will go but it has been fun so far. I always had a love of food and trying out new places so it just seems fitting to put the two together. I wanted to share those experiences with others. One thing is for sure, though, without an audience to read, watch, and hear, there would be no point in this. So to all of you out there reading this post, Thankyou!
