Boone, NC is a town that has tales of folklore as tall as the mountains that surround it. Boone got its name from the famous American Pioneer, Daniel Boone, who is said to have frequently camped there while passing through.

Located in the heart of the town is a restaurant that is serving up country ham biscuits that someday may add to the town's folklore traditions. This is the Dan'l Boone Inn located in Downtown Boone, NC.
The landscaping that adorns the property always has something blooming in season. Once you step foot on the property you are taken back in time. A time when life was simple and the food was fresh from the garden.
Where is Dan'l Boone Inn
The restaurant is located at a busy intersection in Boone, NC, but none of that seems to matter when you are on the property.
Everything going on beyond the property seems to disappear. Housed in one of Boone's oldest buildings, The Dan'l Boone Inn is a welcomed comfort from a busy world.
While you are in the area make sure to save time to visit Ashe County Cheese which is just a short trip away in W. Jefferson, NC>
The Food Dan'l Boone Inn Is Served Family Style
Everything they make they bring to the table, and if you want more of it just ask your server. The meal even includes dessert.
All of the food here is awesome but I especially love their country ham biscuits. You know a southern boy loves his biscuits.
If I had to compare this restaurant to another restaurant, I would say it is similar to Mama's Farmhouse In Pigeon Forge, TN, or the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant in Sevierville, TN.
