Located on the outskirts of town in Lancaster, South Carolina, Punky's Place Dairy Bar and Grill is a newer restaurant but it has already been a hit with the locals. They are serving up all the traditional ice cream desserts plus all your short-order grill favorites. 

It reminds you of a simpler time, sort of like Mayberry where everyone would go down to Snappy's Lunch to get a fried pork chop sandwich.

Punky's Place is one of those local, favorite restaurants that you just love to go to. You know the kind, where the owners become like friends and all of your friends stop by. It reminds you of a simpler time, sort of like Mayberry where everyone would go down to Snappy's Lunch to get a fried pork chop sandwich. Yeah, it is like that. A neighborhood favorite. It seems like this place has been here forever but the real matter of it is, that it has only been opened a few short years.

They also have one of my childhood favorites, dipped cones.

Punky's Place is serving up all the short-order grill favorites like Cheeseburgers, Hamburger Steak, Patty Melts, and chicken wings. They also have friend founders, chicken tenders, and a large array of other mouth-watering delicious food. Of course, when you go, make sure you save room for the star of the show, the dessert. Headlined by a strawberry shortcake dessert that is topped with fresh strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream. They also have one of my childhood favorites, dipped cones. Mmmm mmm good.
